Wear Dock & Engineering Co. offers dry dock and afloat facilities for design, construction, repair and engineering to marine, offshore and industrial companies throughout the world.

Dry Dock Facilities
The dry dock is capable of taking vessels of 8000 tonnes Dwt., 115m x 16.6 m x 5 m draft.
Dockside craneage offers from 8 tonne tower crane up to 30 tonnes from a range of adjacent cranes with higher capabilities from mobile cranes.
Dockside utilities include: electricity, compressed air, fresh and salt water services.

Afloat Repairs
Afloat repairs are available on both tidal and non-tidal berths. Craneage of up to 70 tonnes is available alongside.
Quays of up to 150 m long and 10 m depth all serviced with similar utilities as our dry dock.

Design
A comprehensive design service is available from our qualified staff. Working closely with our customers ensures practical and cost effective solutions.

Engineering Facilities
5 bay covered workshops of over 3000 square metres offering:
- Light Machine Shop
- Heavy Duty Machine Shop
- Machining, Boring, Milling, Welding and Fabrication
- Plate Preparation
- Craneage from 2 to 20 tonne

Approvals
Our work is of the highest quality and is accredited to ISO 9002 quality standard. Welding can be carried out to ASME 9 standards.
